I stay at LQ on International Speedway Blvd in Daytona 5 or 6 times a year. I had made reservations months ago to stay during the fall bike week event in Daytona last week(October 13th - October 16th) i received a call around 10 pm on October 7 from Florida i had missed the call & had no voicemail so i hit the return call approximately 1 minute 37 seconds later and got the national reservations line. We stayed at a Laquinta Inn on Loudon Rd in Latham, NY on October 18th, 2016. The first room they gave us was occupied..very embarrassing. The second room had a dirty wet bath towel hanging up. The waste basket had not been emptied. There was only one cup. The television did not work at all and when we called the Front Desk they asked us if the cable box was plugged in. He said someone would be up to help us..that was at least an hour ago.... Read more

Checked in to the LaQuinta in Layton, UT which I came to find out is company owned which only makes this experience even more horrific. First on the lighter side, the property was dirty, walls and molding, stained carpets... We had put over 12 hours on the road, checked in and ordered take out at the restaurant next door. La Quinta has a program for earning Returns points for each nights stay at a La Quinta hotel. We just received in the mail, a flyer for Double Points for every stay. Sounds like a great deal. Bed bugs, roaches, horrible customer service, the staff is rude and nasty and housekeeping doesnt clean at all.

Spent a week at the hotel and customer service couldn't give a *** about you as paying guest. Got back to the room temperature was changed to an outrageous temperature and the room was freaking unpleasant and uninhabitable. Called the front desk and complained, they apologized and promised to talk to housekeeping and it wouldn't happen again. Second day here I come, same thing! Go down and to complain. I stayed at this hotel in Chattanooga Tennessee on shallowford road... I have two problems.1st problem is the front desk lady Stacy was standing outside with another gentleman that work in laundry room and they was smoking marijuana... Both had on uniforms... The 2nd thing is that I seen the same two go in housekeeping room up stairs, so I followed them and stood on the end of the walk way they had sex in that little room... This was all around... The GM name Amber Smith someone needs to help her no experience at taking care of guests she may know how to do the paperwork in the office but when it comes to her employees and the guests she has no experience and do not care at all with this has came out her mouth personally on top of that she also been taking TVs to Best Buy stealing is what I think it is instead of getting those TVs fixed under warranty she will take them to Best Buy also... Booked online a room in Columbia Missouri. Arrived and expected usual high standards that La Quinta normally meets. Wrong! The hotel smells old. Mildew and strong detergent and disinfect. But since we arrived 10 minutes after 6:00pm we are unable to change or cancell room without being charged. By 10 minutes. I tried front desk and the international reservation number. Both denied.
