Check in was fine but the wanted a credit card for incidentals. I had a three day stay in a very tiny room but even that was OK. I had to leave very early in the morning when I checked out and say goodbye and even that was OK. By the time I landed back home in the state of Hawaii I noticed that there was a charge on my credit card. I called them and they said it was a deposit and it should fall off in a couple of days. A few days past and it still hadnt called off I called customer service for over three hours every day trying to resolve my deposit. As it turns out I was lied to because it was never a deposit they said it was a resort fee. I was never made aware of any resort fee and the charge still has not come off my card. This was not a resort this was a rundown hotel on W. 71st St. in New York City. I was lied to from the beginning about the charge which is just under $100. They completely lied to me from the beginning about the reason why they wanted my credit card and they lied to me about the charge and they lied to me about the deposit and they continue to lie

Management kept my money

We stayed at La Quinta inn in Houston Tx for 6 Nights on Sept 1st 2021.

They requested a cash deposit of 150 Dlls as a deposit and promised to be reimbursed at checkout. That didn't happened we waited for 2 hours and management didn't left the cash or even answer, so time to take our flight came upon and we had to leave with out our money.

We told them we had a flight and she said No problem, they knew we had to leave for our flight. It's now Oct 5th 1 Month after, sending emails and phone calls and they refused to give our money back, with always the same answer, the manager is not in right now, leave a message.

How many messages we had to leave in the office voice mail? To get an answer? To get our money back?

Is this a standard procedure with customers?

I see their ratings are very low with customers satisfaction, it's actually pretty bad. Is this the new standards of Wyndham

REFUND FOR UNACCEPTABLE STAY

My wife and I stayed at the La Quinta Hotel Miami Airport East for one night on August 6th, 2021. Several hours after our arrival we discovered that our toilet was not flushing.

I borrowed a plunger from the front desk (since no maintenance person was available) and attempted to correct the plumbing situaton; but to no avail. Throughout our one night stay we had to leave our third floor room and use the toilets located in the hotel's lobby.

We also observed the unsanitary conditions in the third floor hallway which was litered with pizza boxes and other items. On the following morning, August 7th, we discovered that there was only coffee available to us.

The person at the front desk said that the employee who is responsible for putting out breakfast items failed to show up for work.

I would like a complete refund of my room rate, $179.00 plus taxes, to be credit to my Visa that was used to reserve and pay for our room. Please respond to me asap and let me know what action has been taken.

They give me the room musty i cant sleeping and shortness of breath . I have asthma and sinusitis, so when I first entered, I didn't know they gave me a moldy and damp room. I checked in on September 17 . 2021 3:30pm I finished showering to rest, I discovered room 213 was moldy and damp. At 5pm, i went down to tell the guy to change rooms because room 213 made it difficult for me to breathe and my illness returned. The guy at the front desk refused to give me another room and didn't let me return the room, forcing me to stay there because I already paid. Right now I have returned home now and my health is not good

Upset with La Quinta

I have been trying to get a refund from La Quinta my card has been charged 4x and refunded only twice and I only had 1 room. My other room I was asked to give up prior to my arrival and said no but however when I got to the hotel I did give up my room for people that were evacuating from the hurricane. This has been over a month now.. I am so upset after numerous phone calls that I get a refund but turn around and get charged again, Now I want a full refund for both rooms. Very upset and want my money back

We got to the silverthone location of la quinta in at 1145 am to find out what time check in was. We were driving from 9.5 hrs away. The evening before we had called twice only to wait 15 min each time with no answer. We were met with hostility. Such a rude employee who unkindly told us we couldnt check in till 2 and that we would have to pay 35$. At 150 pm my husband goes in to pay the fee so we can start unloading and get 4 little kids for a nap and she tells him to come back in 20 min. When my husband tried to ask questions She interrupted him and said - I told you 20 mins. When we came back at 2:20 she had us pay The 35$ and then rolled her eyes and looked at another family waiting till 3pm check in time and said- Ill go ahead and just check you guys in . Refund ! We stayed at LaQuinta our last night of our vacation. We were woken up at 1:30am with a family &;;;;;;; kids running up & down the hall, adults just as loud for over an hour. Called front desk and FINALLY stopped. Tried to go back to sleep when there was laughing, arguing outside our window. Adults in the pool at 3:00am being so loud. Another call to the front desk. We had to get up at 4:30 to leave for our 15 hour drive home. VERY tired!!! Manager only offered 20% discount & told us to call corporate. Nothing!!!

I stayed at La Quinta Inn and Suites August 11, 2021 Claremore, OK and checked out the next day. The hotel was booked through Orbitz in advance who billed my credit card August 13,2021. Even though I had already paid, La Quinta Inn and Suites billed my credit card August 14,2021 with a fraudulent double-charge. So far I am stuck in automated *** as La Quinta has not returned my inquiries about this. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I was wearing a lite grey shirt without a bra. I had not yet gotten dressed for the day. Had I known that someone was going to be in that close of proximity to my person, I would have changed my outfit. My nipples could easily be seen through my top and the harasser stared at them consistently and proceeded to ask my a series of personal questions. As we finally parted ways, he said to me, "You need to have a man by your side at all times." To say that I was uncomfortable, would be a severe understatement.

I was wearing a lite grey shirt without a bra underneath. My harasser stared at my nipples nearly exclusively the entire time. It was the top that I had slept in the night before. Had I known there would be someone in that close of a proximity to me, I would have felt much more comfortable wearing a bra and black top (My usual attire). I am modest and do not like to flaunt my chest in that manner, especially towards a person against my choosing.

After waiting on a clerk with others to check in outside at 1 am. A man that was standing there drinking alcohol walked around back and opened up the door for us.

About 15 minutes later the Desk clerk arrived. He reeked of alcohol and marihuana. When it was my turn to check in I notice these things immediately. When I turned back my bed sheets I was disgusted to see *** And stains all over the Blankets.

I could not reach the downstairs staff member so we had to call the national Reservation line for them to get a hold of the guy. We told him we were checking out of the place and demanded our payment back. His Napoleon syndrome attitude came out and he tried to get smart with a customer. Very unprofessional business.

Definitely not safe. Do not stay here for your own health.
