Refused because they don't have a room for a disabled person, and dogs. They are petfriendly, they are downtown oshawa, we have stayed there many times. Sucks

I stayed for 2 nights. They informed me of a 100 deposit, which I paid. It's been a week, and it still hasn't been returned to my card. My bank said to contact them and ask them to release it and they said there's nothing they can do about it. Every other hotel can instantly put the deposit back on my card but not Laquinta... Why is that? I asked. They couldn't answer that question.

I got run around in circles and ended up on a screen that wanted me to pay $47 to get a computer tech to answer my question. What a waste of my time and an attempted rip-off to finish.
I want to talk to a real person about my problem which has to do with money, NOT a computer.

Very unhappy with your location in Plantation, FL. (8101 Peters Road)
After checking out a few days later my friend who paid for two nights called me and said he received a charge for $325.00. When I called the location from desk girl said she would look at the file. $75.00 for pets and $250.00 for smoking in room. Never smoked in my life. I tried calling the hotel multiple times and the manager was never in and supervisor was always busy with a customer or in a meeting. I called customer service and explained everything. I received an email later in the day saying the room was left in poor condition and housekeeper threw up. I never in my life smoked and I find it very rude that the manager or supervisor was never there or available or never received a call back. I asked for some one to help me locate my member number and nobody has time. Very disrespectful. I relocated to a new LaQuianta in Coral Springs and the 3rd day I was there the manager, helped me find my membership number in less than 5 minutes. He said when I check out my points that were available for this stay should go in my account after I check out. When I looked up my account, there were over 16,000 points removed from my account leaving me none. I have lost points because the location in Plantation, FL has no one who had time to help me. Again, I am beyond disappointed that I could not get a call from manager or supervisor to discuss the issue, and instead received an email. Like I said, I am staying at a different location and they go above and beyond for their customers and I will personally stay in LaQuiantas as when I need to because I have dogs and if I come across another bad experience, I WILL NEVER stay in any hotel with company. As for refusing to refund my friends card because of the all over the place stories about smoking in room or horrible smell, is ridiculous. Cannot even get the stories straight. Refund should be taken care of immediately
