Booked 4 nights at the Prescott La Quinta.Looked nice online...

1. We arrived at about 4 p.m. and were given the key to "our room". Tried it....thought we heard someone in the room..knocked on the door and yes, it was still occupied.

2. Waited 15 minutes for the desk clerk to return from "somewhere". She said the computers had been down and information was not correct - gave us another room. 3.

Walked past a puddle of something on the floor as I walked from the room area back to the reception area - hotel was full of dogs (started barking at 6 a.m. as their owners were taking them out for their morning walks...continued until about 8:30). 4. I'll post photos of the disgusting room - never have seen a room so dirty.

#4 is when I wiped off the floor after I spilled some water in the bathroom area - filth. Only posted a few. 5. We stayed for the first night, as we were exhausted, but were very uncomfortable in the room.

6. Morning breakfast - food was not being replaced. customers were all complaining - none of this, none of that. I told the receptionist on our way out (I had the last piece of bread for toast...) that things were empty.

There were 3 younger women there, really not on top of anything and had a "well, we're really busy" attitude...I said yes and things need to be filled up more quickly. Ridiculous and unprofessional. 7.

We asked to cancel our additional 3 nights and did - went to the Prescott Resort on top of the hill - it was wonderful!Will never book La Quinta anywhere again.
