Hi, I'm at the Quinta on the west side of Albuquerque. The receptionist the first day that we went and got the room was being rude, and now she wants to kick us out because she says that my kids are being loud.
My kids cry, and my kid fell from the bed yesterday. I tried to extend my stay, and she's refusing.

I am a VIP Gold member. I used Priceline religiously in the past.
I needed a hotel room for a few nights, so I went on and found an express deal for 1 of 3 hotels for very cheap. I was already staying at one of the hotels on the list, which was the cheapest on the list. Normally, that's the hotel you get, but I knew I could get one of the others, which was fine. I read through the terms, and it said you needed to present a card for incidentals and an ID at check-in.
Ok, I have a card and my ID. I reserve the room and get the most expensive one on the list... a hotel nowhere near where I was... ok whatever, I'll make it work.
So I call the hotel to let them know I would be checking in early if that was OK, and they inform me I need a credit card to check in. I have a debit card... I called Priceline, and they tell me I can use a debit card... so I call the hotel again, and they say, 'Oh yeah, you can, but you have to have $100 on it for incidentals.' Well, I had $15 left on my card; that was all the money I had.
I had nothing else... they won't let me check in. But they tell me that the hotel already charged my card and it is a non-refundable reservation... I asked to be transferred to the hotel I was already at; they said no.
So I am sitting here with a paid hotel room that I cannot check into because I don't have $100 more, and they are trying to keep my money so I can't even get a different room, and they just keep my money??? Ummm?? I'm homeless until my apartment is ready. I have nowhere to go, all my bags, and a hotel room they won't let me get into that I already paid for because I don't have enough on my debit card???
I called Priceline again; they said they contacted the hotel and they told them they can't refund. But I can't check in without $100. Then they said they would talk to the general manager and call me back and were escalating my call. I don't have that kind of money, and I have no one to ask for that kind of money.
They NEVER call back. I call them again hours later; they say they are unable to reach the hotel now and have to escalate my call again, and they would have to try to talk to the GM at the hotel in the morning. That was a week ago!!! They said I would get an email or call back by 10 am the next day.
I gave them ALL DAY, and it is now the next week and STILL no response, no call back. I need my money back. This is not ok. Now they are jerking me around and playing games.
The hotel can't take my money like this. There is nothing that states I needed $100 for incidentals, only that I needed a card... and the hotel won't refund but wouldn't let me check in... I had to sleep at a bus stop in downtown St.
Paul, MN, in the cold and risk my life basically... I had no money, nowhere to go, and I couldn't even stay at the hotel I paid for. This is very, very bad business. Had I known I would need $100 on my card, I NEVER WOULD HAVE RESERVED a room that way.
It was $237.00 that was taken from me for NOTHING. I want my money back!

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times before with minimum issues. We booked our reservation online through a third party site as we always do.
They normally have better prices per room.
We have made reservations in each of our names at different times with no problems checking in. This last time it was in my husband's name. He went inside to check in and was told his reservation would be cancelled as they no longer accept digital IDs. Even though they did earlier that week.
There is no posting of this online for La Quinta or priceline or anywhere in the building.
Not even a written sign stating the new change. I understand rules are subject to change at any time but notices are usually given even after the change has been made.
Since the reservation was cancelled due to the hotel not accepting digital IDs anymore the La Quinta front desk employee stated a full refund would be given after the manager had been updated on the situation verbally from Wendy and her notes on file. This refund would happen the next day as he was not on site at that moment. My husband was also told he needed to contact the third party site he booked with as they would be apart of the refund process.
My husband informed me of what was said and I immediately called the third party booking site and informed them of everything.
I've experienced this situation before and ended up not getting a refund because as the person who made the booking I would have to agree to the cancelation in order for the process to continue. I agreed and then was told I would get no refund because I took fault of the cancelation by agreeing.
When going through the steps this time I went back to the La Quinta while on the phone with priceline. I asked Wendy the La Quinta's front desk employee to verbally explain how the refund would be granted while I was on the phone with priceline who does recorded their calls. I informed Wendy and the priceline agent why I needed all this to be recorded and explained clearly.
They both agreed.
The next day came. I called La Quinta at 8:30am and spoke to the manager on duty Roger. Roger was very rude and came off very hostile. Roger did not care about the information provided by his employee nor the agreement that took place.
He stated no refund would be given and asked why don't you have a physical ID anyway.
In a very judgmental tone. He would not allow me to speak interrupting me multiple times. Stating you have to take this up with the third party. I told you no refund will be given and I don't care what was said and I don't understand why we're still talking then he hung up in my face.
Nice Job Roger the manager.
After this conversation I immediately called priceline explained everything again. They called Roger and at the end of everything a full refund was given on the side of La Quinta.
That I am greatful for. So thank you priceline agent. I think his name was James.
The way Roger handled this situation was very disturbing and cold hearted.
Not to mention he's the manager.
I had to share this experience. I hope no one else has to go through this ever especially with a Roger or worse.

El control no funciona lo cambiaron dos veces x la noche y no sirvió y por la mañana e querido bañarme y no hay agua caliente estoy molesta porque tengo dos niños pregunté en recepción a otro huésped si él tenía problema con el agua caliente y me dijo que lo tubo ayer un día anterior esto ellos ya lo saben y pues yo tengo cosas que hacer aquí en el paso y la recepcionista no ofrece opciones ni preocupacion alguna mucho menos una disculpa y aun me falta un día más

I will make my complaint not as long as I would like. Staying at La Quanta Hotel in Ft Lauderdale Airport Hollywood Ft. 33023 . Wife was attacked by Pit Bull and bitten 5 times in hallway.
A lady had a Pit Bull Dog in her room that was extremely vicious and hotel let the dog in to hotel. The wife was standing in hallway in front of our room when the Pit Bull came out of a room just down from us and attacked my wife biting 5 times on back of leg cause wife turned to protect her face and front and also on lower back.
The owner finally got dog off her . Hotel did nothing unless you asked for help and did nothing to help her . I had to force them to get ride to hospital cause ambulances where all busy . Two days later we found out another lady got bit by Rock willer.
They have no care for there customers .
Unless you like getting attacked will never stay there. Lot to this issue but to long to explain.

I came in on December delavence, that evening. The only had 2 rooms available.
Which was room 148 which I was in another room. One of my other friends were in the wounded I was in. I showed you pictures of them. No one never told us anything about cleaning the rooms.
You had to call in to get your room clean so Thursday. I left thinking that when I get back. There's to evening my room would be clean. No one clean the room at all when to the office in.
Explain to them that I needed my room to be clean. They never came to clean it. They did bring some towels at their cargo. Then for some cows, a manager did come in and look at all the filters in the washroom.
You said you will call me back to see if I can get another room. But he never did.
User's recommendation: Make Sure you check your room before giving anyone your money at the looking room over, then pay your money, otherwise you will be disappointed I am also gonna report this to better business brew. See back and get some of my money back.

There is no human to talk to about the charges on my card! I was charged $280 for one night, and I'm trying to understand why, but there is no one to help me.
The AI system doesn't know anything and hangs up on me. Why was I charged $280? Was it a deposit?
Can someone please help me understand? You make it very difficult to get help or ask questions.

Upon my arrival I received a key and the key didn't work. I return to the check in desk and I received a new room but this room's AC didn't work properly, it blew hot air.
The front desk guy went to check the AC and he said the AC was working properly. But 60 degrees blowing hot air is not AC.
I asked for another room the guy refused! I called Wyndam customer service and they said I needed to call Hotels.com customer service.

I assumed when we found out somebody was staying in the room and we checked out of, it would be dealt with quickly and swiftly instead they continue to get more and more access to our information even gaining access to our deposit and convince the front desk to credit the deposit to another day instead of the deposit going back to our debit card as well as charging several more days to our debit card even after we filed a complaint
Issue with room
My wife and I just found out someone staying in our old room 316 under our old reservation and is trying to make us continue to pay for room we left 2 days ago

I give the La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Tamarac 5070 Fl 7 a 0 star rating.
The halls and elevators were smelly and not cleaned in months or maybe years. We did not know this hotel was in a bad area.
We came on a short stay vacay from the west coast to the east coast. We checked out early due to the awful conditions and decided to leave at 11 pm on March 28th 2025. We turned in our keys and asked front desk for a receipt they said they can't give one at that time but we would get one in the morning by email. It never came but then we got a $500 extra charge on on room.
A police called us to ask if we knew if anyone else was in our room after we left and we told him not that we know of but we did turn in our keys when we left at 11 pm. Someone else was in our room and left blood in the room and a broke tv. Also a report was told to hotel that a girl was screaming and running down the hall with a towel on her head. Turns out management is saying the room was still in our name.
We have to pay. I did report to my cc company and have tried many times to speak with the Manager Mr. Khan. He will not answer me.
He only sent me an email saying they were investigating it. They should have cameras to see I turned in my keys at 11pm to the man behind the desk. We are 76 and 80 years old. Came over to have a fun time and it turns out to me nothing but stress for us..
This hotel should be shut down by the board of health. I am very surprised that Wyndham is associated with them

Checked into my room at 3:00 the TVs were not working so I had to wait an hour for a room to be cleaned and then went to that room the AC did not work and then the pool was not open. Did not get my full refund just an horrible experience.
We go there every other month.
And Sandra scouts was the manager and she was very rude and did not help the situation saying is the customer's fault that the TVs didn't work and we should have let them know when the AC wasn't working. How is that the customer's fault that y'all's equipment is not working and we pay so much just to stay there for two nights

Status is unchanged
My bank said my funds are not available because the merchant (La Quinta) says the transaction from over a week ago is still pending. How is it still pending when it's been over a week since I've been at the hotel?
My bank said my funds will be available if I contact the merchant and ask them to change the transaction status.
I have contacted them about six times, but they still refuse to do anything to help. They are the only ones with the ability to remove the 'pending' status of my refund transaction so that my funds will be available to me, yet they have refused to do so.

Preferred solution: My deposit money back. Especially since there was zero mention of a required $100 deposit when I received confirmation of my reservation.

Guest-270**** It's been a couple years since I've had to use priceline honestly, and LA Quinta is who charged my card, it says it right on the statement. But I did contact priceline about it and they said I had to go through the hotel for a refund.
Now as far as my personal business, I a sex trafficking survivor and am in a program that pays my rent I get a 100% subsidy through Breaking Free and Hearth Connection. It's a HUD program. I was in between apartments and sometime donated money to help me get a room for the days in between. But it was a set allowance and I had no more money.
I'd got go on Priceline and look at each hotel or usually days how much the incidentals are at each, this one said nothing . No price just that a card was needed and there are several that don't have deposits. The one I was at had no deposit, so how would I know that this hotel has I've of it wasn't noted? And being it was an express deal, there was no way to know which hotel I was getting so good think they would list all of the possibilities even booking that deal.
So as far as that goes I think priceline was in the wrong and for then to not refund me and to not let me stay in the room I paid for because of that is pretty bad business and pretty *** too take sometimes money without letting them stay at the hotel and then to not reply or call back when they say.. that's a whole other issue. So that's what's up.
I dint really know how I'm still a Gold member after this long but I haven't needed a hotel in a long time. I've been with breaking free for 2 years ago it's been about that long.
If you booked a non-refundable stay through Priceline, the hotel cannot even authorize a refund if they want to. Priceline is who has your money and who you booked a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation through.
You would have been a guest of the hotel but you were Priceline's customer.
As you are a rewards member, how are you unaware of the security deposit/incidental hold hotels place on your debit or credit card? Also, if you can't afford one, how are you able to afford this apartment you are waiting on?
I never patronize third party services, stay in dive motels, or read posts that are far too long and ramble strangely.
Priceline is lying to you. The hotel did not run your card for the room.
Priceline did.
They could have refunded you but chose not to. They NEVER need the hotel’s ok food a refund.
